Community Treatment specializes in a comprehensive approach to people with various situations of social suffering (problematic drug use, HIV, prisons, homelessness, violation of rights, etc.) and is made up of a set of actions, instruments, practices and concepts organized in a dynamic whose main objective is to improve the living conditions of people, groups, communities and networks that live in contexts of high vulnerability and extreme social exclusion.
RAISSS LA community treatment practices are found in more than 78 local communities in Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru, Argentina, Honduras, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Bolivia and Chile. These experiences are systematized and evaluated in order to produce evidence and maximize the results and social impact of our interventions.
WHAT IS THE ECO2 MODEL?
The ECO2 model proposes work with the 4 networks (subjective network, operational network, network of opinion leaders and network of community and institutional resources), social representations, conflict theory, concept of active minority, use of systems theory and Game theory and strategic diagnosis.
